Happy Birthday Daddy!

So yesterday was Steve's 25th birthday, he is now half way to 50. To celebrate the girls and I had a few things up our sleeves.

We decided to make birthday cupcakes for daddy
I had two big helpers
It seems as though they helped more with making a mess then anything

We then dressed up as princess

The door was decorated so daddy would know how special he was on his day

Maggie and Molly made Steve a crown so that he was king for the day

After all that hard work the girls decided that they should enjoy the spoils of the day too...

and boy did they!

We are so grateful that we have a wonderful husband and father in our lives and we hope that on his day we were able to show him just how much he means to us~

Happy Birthday Steve!

Time for hats...

and I love my two little adorable girls in hats. I am lucky enough that they too love themselves in hats. We can't leave the house without hats on now, it is pretty cute. After we put our shoes on they both stand at the closet and say "hat, hat, hat" until I get them out and let them put them on. I thought that I would share our first day of hats this season.

Sometimes they can be they best of friends...

How adorable are they?!

Sometimes they aren't the best of friends

Molly enjoying the crisp weather in her stylish green fleece, green crocs and knit hat

Maggie also stylish in her blue (her favorite color) gap hoodie and blue heat hat

This was Steve, I am not sure that I would have put Maggie in the tree, I would have been afraid she would fall. Lucky for him she didn't.

They sure do love being outside, and their hats!

Sorry about all the pictures, I couldn't choose between them, they were all so cute.

Before it gets to cold

My Uncle Doug and his family invited us over for a bon fire before the weather turned too cold, so we went. We had a lot of fun being outside, jumping on the trampoline and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The girls and their cousins ran around with flashlights and just had a blast.
Me and the girls enjoying are time together, before it is too cold to go outside without losing a finger or toe.

All of us. Me, Aunt Heather, Uncle Doug, Abby, Alex, Maggie and Molly. We are missing James , Josh and Steve from the picture.

Steve trying to roast the perfect marshmallow - he kept burning them!

The girls running around with their flashlights. So much fun!!

No longer my baby

So my little Molly is no longer my little Molly, she is a big girl now. While we were setting up the girls room we decided that is would be easier to store the crib then a box spring, mattress, and frame. We set up her big girl bed, and she loves it. I felt like such a proud mama to see her little baby growing up but at the same time I felt so sad that my little baby was growing up. This by no means is an indication that I am going to have another one anytime soon.

I love these pictures! They were just having so much fun jumping on their beds and enjoying their new room.

Maggie was showing Molly how to lay down in her bed, it was so cute.
Now lets just see how it goes...

We FINALLY got our stuff!!

After a month of waiting, sleeping on an air mattress, wearing the same 3 outfits, having on a pot and a pan, we finally have our things. I can;t even begin to tell you how happy I am. It has been one long month. Now we just have to un-pack and set everything up...that should be fun.

Our apartment is full of boxes...I don't even know where to start!

Once we get everything set up and looking beautiful I will post pictures.
