First day of NO school

So, on my first day of no school my neighbor, Jamie and her son Brock invited us to go see the colonial days in provo. What a great idea! I couldn't wait to be mommy again. So I dressed the girls and did there hair, which never happens except on Sundays, and planned our trip. We decided that since it is unearthly hot outside that we were going to drive. We wanted to drive together, thats more fun, but since I have two kids and she has a little boy, we weren't sure how that was going to work. It did... Here are are three kids squashed in the backseat of my little car.

Despite the cramped car ride, I think that the kids had a fun time playing with the old time toys,

with each other,

And climbing all over anything they could

So at the end of my first day being mommy again I have remembered a few things:
  • Two kids is much harder then one
  • You have to be in good shape to keep up with them
  • Schedules and keeping those schedules is the only way to survive
  • Pack treats, water and a change of clothes (yourself included)
  • ALWAYS make sure that there is a potty nearby

I can't believe how much the girls have grown up! Especially Molly- she actually has hair, no more mohawk!

It's great to hear you graduated! Congratulations Ashley! Now that you're back to being a "full-time" mommy, you can hopefully take in those beautiful kids of yours a little more. They look like they had fun on their last outing you posted. ¡Te deseo lo mejor de todo!
